Light Lentil Soup with Minced Beef Recipe

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 small onion or 50 g, finely chopped

150 g lean beef, minced

½ teaspoon ground cumin

5 cups water or 1250 ml

1 sachet MAGGI® Lentil Soup

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon lemon juice


Warm olive oil in a large saucepan. Add onion and cook for 2 minutes.

Add minced beef and fry for 4 minutes or until the beef becomes brown in color and cooked.

Add cumin powder, water and MAGGI® Lentil Soup . Bring to boil with constant stirring and simmer for 10–15 minutes.

Add parsley and Season with lemon juice and serve.
